Taste Alberta's Restaurants while raising funds for a Youth Health Project in Peru!
Participation - How it works:
Participation booklets can be picked up anytime between 3-4pm on Sunday, September 27th, at the Grilled Cheese Grill, where you will get your first "Taste". In your booklet you will find a map of the ten participating restaurants, as well as tickets to put in a jar at each location. The tickets not only tell the restaurants that you are part of the tour, but also enter you into a raffle for a gift certificate from that business. There are some businesses for which you will be automatically entered into a raffle, but which are not participating in the tour. You will also find other Alberta business information in the booklet, along with coupons and information on our special art gallery showings featuring local artist Christine Downs from Six Days, and Mark Menjivar at Ampersand.
Upon showing your ticket, you will receive a "Taste" of what that restaurant offers, akin to a mini sampler platter or appetizer at each location. If you really like something, feel free to purchase more. The trick is remembering all of the delicious restaurants you want to return to for a full meal!
After the event, we will pull names from each of the raffles, and call our winners to arrange delivery of their prize.
