Five-Year General Objectives
Institutional Objectives
In the next five years MEJORC's objectives are to have one partnership with an established Peruvian organization, with one full-time secretary and three project managers.
Project Objectives
All MEJORC projects will have accomplish one or more of the following goals and/or objectives:
Goal 1: Improve hygiene practices
Objective 1.1 - Individuals will show a 70% increase in their knowledge of hygiene.
Objective 1.2 - Individuals will have a 50% increase in good hygiene practices.
Goal 2: Improve nutrition practices
Objective 2.1 - Individuals will show a 70% increase in their knowledge of nutrition.
Objective 2.2 - Individuals will have a 50% increase in good nutrition practices.
Goal 3: Improve healthy physical family environments
Objective 3.1 - Individuals will learn how to create at least one new aspect of a healthier physical family environment.
Objective 3.2 - Individuals will create and maintain at least one new aspect of a healthy physical family environment.
Goal 4: Improve healthy mental and emotional family environments
Objective 4.1 - Individuals will show a 70% increase in their knowledge of child development.
Objective 4.2 - Individuals will create and maintain at least one practice of a healthier emotional and mental family environment.
Five-Year Project Plan
MEJORC will work in up to two regional area for five years with the following basic plan to encourage strong ties within the community, develop a support system with the community, and develop a strong sense of trust between the community and MEJORC.

Integration and Youth Health Promoter Training in new region.
Youth-lead project examples are; cocinas mejoradas, community wells, school soup kitchen, community soup kitchen, community gardens, animal raising, youth groups; but are not exclusive to the items on this list. The idea behind remaining flexible on the focus of these projects is to allow the youth to brainstorm and evaluate the health needs of their community. They will then create a project that best suits their needs, which also most effectively utilizes their local resources.
