Corey Short, Director

Corey Short, was born and raised in Kennewick, Washington, and attended Seattle University receiving a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering and a minor in mathematics. While in college, Corey volunteered as a tutor at a local elementary school in a low-income neighborhood assisting homeless students.

After completing his degree, Corey served as an active duty officer in the U.S. Air Force traveling overseas on numerous occasions. Corey left the Air Force after four years to pursue a civilian career in management and has more than 9 years of experience in engineering and project and operations management.

Corey is married with one daughter and currently lives in Kennewick, Washington. He enjoys spending time outdoors with his family. Corey is excited to contribute to MEJORC and to have the opportunity to help build the organization.
